Qualified Health and Safety trainer and assessor in disciplines such as first aid, health and safety management, fire safety, food hygiene etc. Managed facilities through quality assurance inspections gaining the likes of accreditation in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 in industry and also the educational inspection framework of OFSTED being graded Outstanding. Whilst operations director of a management consultancy he advised on local and regional initiatives for NEET clients and improvements to their circumstances placing them back in to the work place. This was done whilst offering full protection to the business recruiting, the client requiring work placement and job agency struggling to place them, very often offering work based training making the clients "job ready".    

Business Improvement

Improved centre EBITDA 29% year on year higher than forecast. Financial sustainability in centre which had previously run as a community offering but a financial drain on the group, this turned around to make profit and improve services for the first time in previous 5 years. Improved work force, better trained, more qualified and better staffing retention. Project managed rebuild / refurbishments of facilities accounting for all health and safety and financial responsibility. Successfully bid for finding to develop projects to further support the customers and staffing team. Training program written and developed from scratch to include staff incentives and benefits. Wrote successful business tenders for national contracts of large organisations.

Jo Marchant - Executive Headteacher

Jo is currently the Executive Headteacher of Windrush Primary School and CEO of the Endeavour Partnership Trust. She has 26 years of experience in primary education and has been designated as a National Leader in Education.  As well as leading two outstanding sites with Windrush she also took up an interim Headship of another 4 form entry spilt site school in Greenwich for one year and saw it through a transition of being Requires Improvement to Good. Jo carries out school to school reviews in other London boroughs and around England in areas such as Dorset and Devon. Jo is also a Pupil Premium reviewer and carries out reviews in inner and outer London.   


Alison Deadman - School Business Manager

Alison is a qualified CIPFA accountant who worked for the finance department of Greenwich LA for twenty four years until taking up the post of School Business Manager at Windrush in September 2015. Alison had responsibility for the Greenwich School’s Accounting Team before being promoted to the Head of Children’s Services Finance post in October 2012 where she was responsible for managing and reporting on a budget of over £270 million, including the Dedicated School’s Grant. 


Stewart Birnie - Palliative Nurse


Stewart Birnie is an experienced paediatric nurse with a background in palliative and complex healthcare; as such he has sound knowledge around child health and development. Currently working for Evelina London Community Services as the Children's Continuing Care Nurse for Southwark, Stewart has worked in both the acute and community setting in some of London's most ethnically diverse and economically deprived boroughs, so has worked with children and families from many different cultural, religious and socio-economic backgrounds. Stewart has expert skills and knowledge in issues around safeguarding children.


John Camp - Lead for The Compass Partnership of Schools


John Camp is Chief Executive Officer of The Compass Partnership of Schools in Greenwich, London. The partnership is a charitable trust of six primary schools and one all-through special school. John is also a national leader of education and a council member for The Association of School and College Leaders.

John started his career in the London borough of Southwark in 1991, and moved to Greenwich in 2001 as deputy of an outstanding primary school. He became Headteacher of Deansfield Primary School in 2008 and has then Executive Headteacher of the Compass Partnership schools which was a local authority federation. The federation grew over a period six years as a result of its reputation for outstanding change leadership and innovative approaches to developing curricular and teaching that is creative and engaging.

Leadership has been judged as outstanding by OfSTED and has been instrumental in turning around the fortunes of three schools in very difficult circumstances. The group is one of the Teaching Schools in the Royal Greenwich Teaching Schools Alliance and provides a range of teacher development opportunities for other schools. The partnership supports a number of schools and groups of schools across the south east.

John is a committed system leader who believes passionately in collaboration as a lever for deep and lasting change.


Liz Mendelsohn BSc (Hons) MRICS - Director of Arcadis

Liz is a Director Director at Arcadis, where she works part time as a Project and Programme Manager leading their Capital Programmes for both the Priority Schools Build Programme and Free Schools Programme on behalf of the Department for Education. 

She started her career as a Building Surveyor in 2000 and received her Professional Membership to the RICS in 2002. She moved to EC Harris in 2004 a company which later merged with Arcadis and subsequently changed its name. Her passion for problem solving led her into Project Management where she has worked in a number of sectors including Corporate Real Estate, Retail, Regeneration and from 2009 our Education Sector. 

She has successfully delivered a number schools with a mix of Primary, Secondary and SEN with her personal biggest success being the Award winning  ‘The Village School’ in Brent, an all through SEN school which provided education to some of our most vulnerable children.

Her background in surveying provides her with not only a technical understanding of the school buildings but also the common problems which are encountered. In addition her role leading two of Arcadis' biggest commissions provides her with experience of a number of the DfE’s processes, frameworks and protocols which schools need to understand and adhere to.

She is also a mother of two girls aged 7 and 4, with her youngest about to start Primary School in September. This provides her with first-hand experience of the environment and values which she wants her own children to encounter within their own school life which she feels brings real insight and further strength to her own contribution to Endeavour.


Anna Dillnot - Barrister

Anna Dilnot has a broad commercial and commercial Chancery practice with particular expertise in civil fraud, multi-jurisdiction disputes and international arbitration. Anna is recommended as a leading junior in the legal directories for both commercial litigation and civil fraud.

In 2013 Anna was chosen by Chambers and Partners as one of its ten Stars of the Bar.
